Do you guarantee fills?

Yes, our platform will execute orders at the indicated price under normal market conditions. In situations of market gaps it is impossible to cover the positions with our liquidity providers, and you may be filled at a different price than initially requested.

Does the platform allow hedging?

You can without any problem open hedge positions (hold both long and short positions of the same pair) on the Exto Trading Station. To do so, simply right-click on an open positions and select "Hedge position".

How many versions of Exto Trading Station are there?

Exto Trading Station includes 3 platforms depending on your need:

Exto Pro Trader:  Designed for the active trader who needs maximum flexibility, speed and powerful analytical tools

Exto Light Trader:  Allows you to trade on any Windows, Linux or Mac based computer from any location

Exto Mobile Trader:  Enables your to trade on the run from your mobile phone

System error: Code 32 - using extoPRO Trader with NOD32 anti-virus

 

 

The system error "Code 32, the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process" can occur when the NOD32 anti-virus is installed on your computer. To resolve this issue, it is necessary to exclude the "Exto" program directory from NOD32.

For NOD32 Anti-Virus versions 3 and 4 (for older versions, see the end of this FAQ)

1. Open the NOD32 control panel by double clicking on the NOD32 icon in the taskbar
2. Click on the "Setup" button in the left-hand side menu

 

 

3. Switch to the advanced mode by clicking on the "Toggle Advanced mode" link

 

 

4. Click on the "Antivirus and antispyware" link in the left-had side menu

 

 

5. Click on the "Edit exclusions" link under the "Real-time file system protection" section

 

 

6. Click on the "Add..." button to add the "Exto" program folder

 

 

7. In the folder view, locate and select the "Exto" directory (by default in c:\program files\exto) and click "OK"

 

 

8. Click the "OK" button to confirm the exclusion and close the window.

 

 

NOD32 version 3 users should now be able to launch extoPRO Trader.

The following steps 9-11 apply FOR NOD32 VERSION 4 USERS ONLY

9. Disable the "Real-time file system protection" and the "Document protection" by clicking on the "Disable" links under each section.

 

 

10. Launch "extoRPO Trader". You should be able to log-in and the software will be accepted by NOD32.

11. Once you have been able to login to extoPRO Trader, you can enable the "Real-time file system protection" and "Document protection" again to keep your computer safe by clicking on the "Enable" links under each section.

 


For older versions of NOD32

1. Open NOD32 Control Center.
2. Click AMON.
3. Click Setup.
4. Select the Exclusion tab.
5. Add the Exto folder (C:\Program Files\Exto by default) and save the settings.
6. Click Add > Folder.
7. Browse to Exto folder (C:\Program Files\Exto by default).
8. Make sure that in Excluded objects field Folder is selected.
9. Click OK twice to save the settings.
